**Salary**: c £35k pro rata depending on experience

Aspire Jobs are working with our telecoms' client who are now looking to recruit a Billing and tariff Analyst. This can be a part time role with hours to suit you (around 3 days pw).

This is a key role in the growth and development of our client ensuring profitability of the business, making sure that they are billed correctly and that they profitably bill their customers correctly and accurately as well as protecting the business againstfraud.

They are in the middle of moving from 1 system to another, which will simplify the amount of tariffs they have. These tariffs can be changed at any time by the supplier, and this role will ensure that you are checking those tariffs and data to ensure thattheir clients are billed at the right rates.

**The successful Billing Analyst will**:

- Be analytical
- Be numerate
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Have advanced Excel skills and experience.

This role will see you supporting and working closely with Management, The principal goal is to keep their tariffs up-to-date reflecting the changes that are applied by their suppliers.

In addition, areas of work will range from billing and supplier reconciliations through to system check, audits, and fraud prevention.

Accountabilities:
1. Tariffs

Responsible for updating the buy and sell tariffs in their billing systems.
- Updating tariffs as supplier prices change
- Ensuring routes provided are profitable
- Dial String updates as required

2. Supplier reconciliations
- Monthly reconciliation of invoices received from suppliers. To agree call minutes and tariff charged.

3. Bill run reconciliations
- Reviewing call records in suspense and clearing where appropriate to resolve missing calls to reduce the business exposure to unbilled/unallocated calls and services.

4. Monitor usage alerts
- Monitor usage alerts from suppliers and usage on their systems and take relevant action promptly detect and reduce the risk posed by Telecoms Fraud and unauthorised usage.
