Trainee Estimator

The position is a full time 39 hour week on a permanent basis.

**Key Details: Trainee Estimator**
- Take customer “Request for Quotation” and complete quotations based on deadlines using a variety of system pricing tools.
- Liaise with customers, as well as internal departments such as engineering, sales and customer service staff to resolve any queries/issues and amendments.
- Acknowledging orders when received and liaising with engineering/vetting to confirm.
- Control records for all enquiries quoted by Flint or remote sales offices
- Maintain list of estimating software upgrades / requirements.
- Self-driven and highly motivated with the ability to feel comfortable to work alone as well as within a team/office environment.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts utilising discounts, percentages, using internal systems/tools and Excel.
