Play Worker

An opportunity to work at a vibrant, fun and exciting Out of School club. You will mainly be based at our Fairfield First school setting.
Applicants must enjoy working in the outdoor environment and have the ability to encourage children’s participation in outdoor activities. Teamwork is particularly important and applicants must have a friendly positive disposition with a desire to co-operate and work well with others. Applicants must be confident, self-motivated, work alongside supervisors and able to motivate and inspire children to develop their own play. Applicants must have good communication skills and maintain a lively interest in topical events in order to support children’s growing knowledge.
Hours: 22.50 per week Term time, however extra hours available during our holiday clubs.
Term time opening hours: 07.45 - 09.00 and 14.45 - 18.00
Holiday club opening hours: 07.45 - 18.00
We are closed for the last week of August and the christmas holidays.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Permanent
Part-time hours: 22.5 per week
**Salary**: £9.50-£10.42 per hour
