If you’re searching for a rewarding and fulfilling career opportunity, look no further. **Spencer Clarke Group** are working alongside**Lambeth Council** to appoint a **Streetworks Inspector **on a contract basis.
**Duties:
- To assist in ensuring that the Council’s duties under the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, Traffic Management Act 2004 & The London Permit Scheme are discharged properly, efficiently and effectively in order to reduce disruption to the public highwayto enable the Council to fulfil its network management duty.
- Inspect Street Works activities throughout the borough, reporting on works in progress, overruns, defective apparatus, defective reinstatements and monitor sites throughout the guarantee period.
- Use Borough Knowledge on activities and events in order to help reduce unnecessary disruption to the network and attend site in case of emergencies
**What’s on offer?**
**Pay rate**: £24 - £26 per hour, negotiable
