The Role:
The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for aspects of accounts payable for international and currency (other than GBP) UK suppliers. This role requires someone with good communication skills, who works well as part of the accounts payable team andwho can liaise with other departments within the business when necessary to resolve queries. The role requires a good eye for detail, the ability to work well under pressure and ability to prioritise workload.
- Share responsibility for clearing the UK Accounts Payable inbox
- Processing overseas supplier invoices against goods received
- Processing overseas supplier proforma invoices
- Reconciliation of supplier statements.
- Checking supplier bank details, processing bank charges and payments in USD, EUR and GBP mainly, and other currencies when required
- Creating bi-weekly payment runs ensuring the funds are available in the bank account by requesting the funds.
- Updating supplier address and banking information.
- Liaising with other departments within the business to resolve queries.
- Monthly review of aged creditors reports to identify proforma payments that require a tax invoice to be obtained, identify balances to be written off, debit balances to be refunded, contras to be processed with Account Receivable ledgers.
- Any other duties as requested by the Accounts Payable Manager

**Profile**:
This position will ideally suit someone who has 2-3 years' experience within an Accounts Payable role, and looking for more responsibility. A knowledge of using Infor CSI would be an advantage but not essential, good skills required in using Microsoft Outlookand Excel

On Offer:
Salary circa - £28,000 to £30,000
