We are actively seeking dynamic and adaptable Cover Supervisors to join schools in St Albans. The role involves stepping into classrooms, ensuring the continuation of education in the absence of the regular teacher, and managing the classroom environment effectively.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and manage classroom activities in the teacher's absence, ensuring that pre-set work is completed.
- Maintain a constructive and orderly classroom environment, enforcing school policies and promoting positive behavior.
- Assist and support students in their learning processes, clarifying task instructions and facilitating discussions.
- Take accurate attendance records and report any issues encountered during the day to permanent staff.
- Respond to any immediate issues or emergencies according to established school protocols.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent organizational and communicational skills.
- Experience in a teaching or classroom supervisory role is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and manage groups of students effectively.
- Must possess or be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
