Maintenance/handyman/woman

We are looking to recruit a part time Handy Person to join our team at Pembroke House Nursing Home.

We are a friendly 23 bedded nursing home, we care for residents with a variety of needs including Dementia.

We require a practical person who is reliable, a good timekeeper and a team player. We require a person with a can do attitude and someone who understands confidentiality. We require a person who has an understanding of the environment that they will be working in.

A DBS check will be required.

You will be required to undertake the following tasks:
Decorating a room

Repairing a wheelchair and other equipments

Have a reasonable level of carpentry and be able to assemble flat packs

An understanding of elecrrical appliances

Basic level of plumbing

Carry out and record maintenance paperworks/reports

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: £10.50-£11.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Colwyn Bay: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
