We are recruiting on their behalf for a Mill Team Leader to assist and support the mill manager in the day-to-day management of the rounding mill and the operations team at their location in Kidderminster

Our client’s traditional products are also designed to be of superior quality - our sheds typically have a range of extra security features and higher eaves than the majority on the market.

Mill Team Leader Main duties:
Ensure during the assigned shift the safe operation of the Rounding Mill and PROBST 2 Line
- Ensure the Rounding Mill and PROBST 2 SSOW guidelines are followed
- Ensure all mandatory PPE is worn
- Forklift Truck and associated Health and Safety Protocols assigned
- Support and coach the Rounding Mill team in ensuring the performance of the mill is

maximised and in line with the recommended and documented operating parameters
- Support and coach the Rounding Mill Team to deliver the Operational daily targets for the Mill
- Ensure all Daily Output and Downtime documentation is completed at the end of each shift

and returned to the Mill Manager
- Support the Mill Manager in ensuring all Health and Safety inspections assigned to the Work Centre are completed
- Support the Mill Manager in ensuring the Preventative Maintenance protocols are completed

in line with the PPM schedules
- Report as required any Health and Safety issues through the appropriate communication channels
- Ensure the quality of the product produced is in line with the agreed standards
- Ensure the Mill housekeeping is maintained to the highest standard
- Support the Mill Manager in carrying out Operational Toolbox talks as required
- Actively participate in and support process improvement initiatives
- Maintain mandatory Training Qualifications relating to the specific job role
- Attend as required Training courses identified to enhance job role

Mill Team Leader Desirable previous experience:
Able to use own initiative, make effective decisions and judgments when required
- Able to communicate Effectively with internal departments at all levels
- Able to deliver daily Team Leader briefings
- Skilled in allocating resources efficiently and effectively
- Confident in delivery of Operational excellence and performance
- Able to Identify and assess opportunities for Operational Improvement.
- Use IT tools relevant to role
- Qualification in relevant Team Leader discipline or a Minimum 3 year’s Relevant Team Leader

experience required for this role in a production environment.
- General knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies. (Practical Problem solving, 5S)
- Support HR process when dealing with employee issues
- To act as a role model in demonstrating the Company values and carry out any other duties

as reasonably requested,

Your operating hours are:
January 2023: 40 hours 07:00 to 16:00 5 days a week
