**Yard operative**

An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic individual to join our hard working & friendly manufacturing team. Located at Sweet Briar Road Industrial Estate Norwich, Read Brothers is a family run business which takes great pride in delivering quality timber & engineered products throughout East Anglia and beyond.

This position will be assisting in daily duties in the timber yard as a Yard Operative.

Advantageous (though not essential)
- Experience in similar role
- Fork lift licence to operate side loader
- Nail gun or sawyer experience

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting the sawyers feeding the production line
- Operating power tools and manual tools
- Operating machinery
- Heavy lifting is required
- General quality control of all materials
- Working in a safe manner and adhering to all health and safety standards
- To work in conjunction with your supervisor’s instructions
- To act in accordance with company policies and procedure

**Job Type**: Full Time & Permanent

Regular hours: 39 hours Mon to Friday 8:00am - 4:30 pm (3:30pm on a Friday)

Overtime: Regular overtime available (paid at x1.5)

Bonus: Annual performance based bonus scheme

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
