Storeman

We have an opportunity for an organised and driven individual to take on an ownership role within our factory.

The Storeman is a key role within the company fueling the flow of production kits to the Weld shop & Build Assembly departments in production, the flow inwards of materials & components parts from suppliers and the flow outwards of customer orders.

This role will involve goods in, goods out, organising stores, making up of weld assembly and build assembly kits and stock management.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Goods In**
- Receipt of Goods into stock following company ISO procedures
- Unloading of deliveries from couriers

**Kitting**
- Accurate and efficient completion of the Weld Kits & Build Assy Kits
- Responsible for shortage identification of parts for kits and timely communication to purchasing for procurement.
- Safe movement of parts through factory using forklift.

**Dispatch**
- Packing customer orders; finished equipment and spare parts.
- Loading of goods onto variety of vehicles; couriers, containers etc
- Completion of despatch paperwork

**Stock**
- Ensure orderly and tidy stock locations
- Working in conjunction with purchasing to ensure sufficient stock levels
- Monthly movement stock taking, and when required

**Forklift**
- Movement of parts, kits and equipment through out factory driving flow of production in conjuction with Production Supervisor.

**Store & Yard Maintenance**
- Ensure equipment used is kept clean, maintained and in good working condition
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment

**Essential Skills**:

- Good communication skills
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Experience in a manufacturing and or engineering environment.
- Forklift experience
- Able to trouble shoot and solve problems
- Ability to work in a team

**Desirable**:

- Working knowledge of Warehouse or stores system
- Health & Safety knowledge

**Hours of Work**

Mon - Thurs 7.00am - 4.15pm
Friday 7.00am - 1.30 pm
