RMS are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Press Brake Operator to join our client’s manufacturing team based in Peterlee.

The working hours are Monday to Thursday 7:45AM - 4:45PM & Friday 7:45AM - 1:45PM. This is a temporary to permanent position for the right person.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Prepare CNC press brake machines for operation by setting up tooling, selecting appropriate materials, and loading programs.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders to program CNC press brake machines for precise bending operations.
- Operate CNC press brake machines to bend, fold, and form metal components according to specified dimensions and tolerances.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, making adjustments as necessary to maintain accuracy and consistency.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC press brake machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including job setup sheets, inspection reports, and material usage logs.
- Work closely with colleagues in production, engineering, and quality control departments to resolve any issues and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Proven experience as a CNC press brake operator in a manufacturing environment, with proficiency in machine setup, programming, and operation.
- Strong understanding of CNC press brake machinery, including setup, programming, tooling selection, and troubleshooting.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues and make adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve production goals.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
