Owl Recruitment are pleased to present an excellent opportunity for an experienced Agri-Environmental Consultant to join a fantastic national environmental consultancy, as part of their Landscape Planning and Management team in Glasgow.

**About the company**:
You will be joining an award-winning environmental consultancy who provide planning, impact assessment, landscape design, ecology and geospatial services to a wide range of public and private sector clients. They are well established and have an excellent track record in their field, with sustainable development and climate resilience and mitigation at the heart of their work.

As leaders in the conservation and enhancement of rural landscapes, ecological assessment & management, and conservation of the historic environment; our client has identified significant potential to further grow this part of the business, and to forge strong links with other parts of their work. This is where you come in.

**About the role**:
As Agri-Environmental Consultant you will play a key role in developing and delivering a growing portfolio of rural land management projects, and building on the consultancy’s track record to expand natural capital and climate mitigation work, particularly at the local and estate levels.

You will work with other teams to further develop multi-disciplinary, strategic responses to rural land use and environmental issues, as well as contributing to bids and helping build partnerships with other specialists in the field. Projects could include:

- Research projects
- Carbon sequestration and storage strategies
- Environmental land management advice and monitoring
- Natural capital and ecosystems service assessments / strategies
- Management Plans and Whole Estate Plans
- Woodland expansion strategies

You will be joining a friendly and exceptionally talented team of landscape managers and landscape planners, and working with ecologists, historic environment specialists, spatial analysts, land use planners and landscape designers, who are all committed to high quality professional work with a strong emphasis on delivering sustainable solutions.

Salary for this role is £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (DOE) plus benefits including an attractive hybrid-working and flexible-working policy, and annual profit-sharing bonuses.

As our client is an Employee-Owned Trust, you will also have the opportunity to share and participate actively in the management and ownership of the business.

**About you**:
We are looking for seasoned Agri-Environmental Consultants with:

- Knowledge and experience of agriculture, land management, agri-environment schemes and interfaces with ecology, landscape and the historic environment.
- Sound understanding of environmental legislation, policy and practice across the UK.
- An understanding of social and economic aspects of rural land management.
- A full UK driving licence
- Experience contributing to successful tenders/bids would also be highly advantageous
