**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Provide timely, consistent and appropriate advice and support for managers on a range of employee relations matters (specifically, disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence and attendance, capability, bullying/harassment).
- Assist managers in suspension meetings, and support the investigation into allegations relating to disciplinary, grievance or harassment cases and support with the completion of all associated documentation.
- Provide support to managers in preparing any reports/case presentation and assist panels in consideration of evidence associated with disciplinary, grievance, capability and harassment issue. Provide support to managers in presenting and hearing appeals against dismissals and other sanctions.
- Support the business partner model to reduce and manage sickness absence by providing a comprehensive service to managers relating to sickness absence for any directorates identified, including covering for colleagues as appropriate. This includes attending sickness meetings, preparing and checking confirmation letters and Occupational Health letters and supporting and providing managers with advice in appeals against sickness management and referring employees for termination of contract. In addition, assisting panels in consideration employees for termination of contract. In addition, assisting panels in consideration of evidence.

**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:

- Excellent communication skills
- both verbal and written
- Microsoft office skills
- Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Previous admin experience
- Previous NHS experience
- NHS System Knowledge
- IT Literate
- This role may require you to show evidence of education to Degree level or at least 2 years relevant experience._
