**Hours**: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break

**Location**: Warminster Office/Hybrid working.

**Reports to**: Head of Finance

**Role Summary/What are we looking for?**

As a Cashbook Controller, you will report to and support the Head of Finance with the extensive duties undertaken by the finance team, while setting targets and supporting other departments to create and maintain their budgets. You will also be liaising with and working alongside, a diverse team of skilled professionals in departments across the business, supporting them in their financial planning.

This role is hugely important to report accurate & timely financial figures & contribute to overall business goals.

**Duties and Responsibilities: (Include but not limited to)**
- VAT Returns - Reconcile & submit quarterly UK VAT returns & monthly German VAT returns.
- Expenses - Payment, coding & posting of employee expenses.
- Supplier Payments GBP - Liaising with accounts team members to make timely payments to suppliers.
- Supplier Payments US$ - Manage the payment of foreign currency invoices, with guidance from the Head of finance.
- Credit Card management - Coding, posting & reconciliation of credit card transactions & statements.
- Cashflow management - Assisting with multi-currency cashflow planning & monitoring (Daily, weekly & monthly).
- Bank account management - Coding & posting of multi-currency transactions & monthly reconciliation of various bank accounts.
- To provide information to the Head of Finance and other departments as required
- Systems enhancements/developments (Internal systems & Excel reporting)
- Any other reasonable duties as required.
- Always maintain company confidentiality

**What do we need from you?**
- Multi-Currency - You will need to have solid experience in dealing with various currencies.
- Reconciliations - To be confident in reconciling multiple accounts promptly.
- Organised - The ability to effectively manage time & prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met.
- Accuracy - To strive for perfection is essential for the production & reporting of financial statements.
- Attention to detail and the ability to focus on accuracy whilst working on several tasks.
- Ability to positively contribute to a team environment, supporting others as well as working independently even under pressure.
- Communication - A strong communicator with all relevant stakeholders both internal and External
- Pro-active attitude and ability to work on own initiative.
- Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to work to key deadlines.
- A thorough knowledge of accounting procedures
- Experience gained in a similar role.
- Specific Xero Experience an Advantage
- AAT or an accountancy qualification required.
