Job description

TSR are looking Project Lead/Manager responsible for overseeing the timely execution and completion of the project. The role will require you to take full ownership, as they are responsible and accountable for ensuring the project is delivered safely, ontime, on budget and to the client’s satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the construction department’s primary objectives are met by the project team
- Promote collaborative, positive and inclusive communication. At all levels of the project team, which results in ownership of objectives and high standards of performance.
- Work directly with the client, consultants, stakeholders & sub-contractors to build strong effective relationships.
- Ensure all aspects of the project (design, procurement & construction) are effectively planned and efficiently resourced (people, plant & materials) to ensure the project is Complete on or before the date identified within the Construction Programme.
- Provide proactive and dynamic leadership of health and safety across all aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with all company procedures and health & safety legislation, while striving for zero accidents/incidents.

- Take ownership of the commercial success of the project and, with the support of the Commercial Lead, manage project costs, to meet the agreed budget and deliver the required profit.
- Provide timely input into the design to ensure that cost-effective, safe and buildable designs are developed.
- Ensure that Project Information is shared between relevant parties, in a timely and appropriate manner, to facilitate successful project delivery.
- Take ownership and keep, under continual review, the project Opportunity & Risk Schedule, ensuring that the key project risks & opportunities are identified and assessed, with appropriate measures implemented to mitigate the risks and realise the opportunities.
- Ensure that all Change is managed by the terms of the Contract/Sub-Contract.
- Undertake accurate & regular reporting on all aspects of the project, to ensure that, at all times, you are fully aware of the status of the project.
- Provide concise, factual & transparent project reports to the Construction Director, ensuring these include clear solutions to any areas of underperformance. The relevant parts of these reports are to be shared with the Client, as required by the Contract.
- Collaborate with other Project Leads to ensure best practice is shared and utilised for the benefit of Company performance.
