We are looking for a qualified **Production Planner** to organise production according to demand and quality standards. They will be the one to ensure our products are produced on time for distribution in a profitable manner.

An excellent production planner is well-versed in production procedures and ways to optimise them. They are organised and results-driven with great problem-solving skills. Advanced communication and computer skills are very useful for the role.

The goal is to ensure the smooth and cost-efficient flow of our production operations.

**Responsibilities**
- Coordinate production workflow for multiple products
- Plan and prioritise operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
- Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand
- Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
- Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
- Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
- Prepare and submit status and performance reports
- Keep paperwork organised
- Liaise with Customer Service team, Warehouse and Purchasing team to confirm customer requirements
- Create material orders requests to meet production demands liaising with site function heads to obtain daily weekly requirements.
- Coordinate daily intercompany, external sub-contractor and finished goods despatching on a daily basis and controlling warehouse / ERP system administration activities.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as production planner would be desirable
- Previous knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics would be desirable
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Good at maths and statistics
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities

Salary offered: £21K to £22.500

Hours:Mon to Fri 08.30 to 5pm, 30 Mins lunch break.40 hour working week.
