Join an oil and gas subsea company on a permanent staff basis as an Occupational Health and Wellbeing Lead. Based in Westhill, Aberdeen, applicants must have a recognised Nurse Qualification.

As the Occupational Health & Wellbeing Lead you will have the following main duties and responsibilities:

- Developing, implementing and evaluating health and wellbeing related policies and strategies.
- Working in partnership with stakeholders across management teams to engage support for the promotion of health and wellbeing within the business.
- OneFleet focal point for the retained occupational health service providers for the fleet and ensuring the service meets the needs of the business.
- Managing the offshore medics and all health management offshore on vessels under operational control.
- Developing, managing and delivering the health and wellbeing strategy and supporting initiatives.
- Mentoring and professionally developing HSE Team members in occupational health and wellbeing matters through a combination of training, theory and practice.
- Providing professional occupational health services to the business whilst retaining confidentiality which the position demands.
- Representing OneFleet within the offshore, marine and subsea industry.
- Supporting employees, and their operations, through the design, delivery and maintenance of occupational health and wellbeing services and systems.
- Ensuring OneFleet projects and operations are provided with occupational health guidance and support to achieve technical and legal compliance.
- Maintaining high professional standards and continue to grow the company’s reputation as an industry leader in the delivery of occupational health and wellbeing support services.
- Delivering presentations/training sessions to promote health and wellbeing and occupational health risks.
- Ensuring consistent occupational health case management.
- Providing health and wellbeing promotion.
- Supporting the development of worksite health risk assessments.
- Providing advice and support with travel health.
- Supporting the HSE Team to strengthen the health and wellbeing agenda within OneFleet.
- Working with senior management to define meaningful occupational health and wellbeing key success factors (KSF’s).
- Providing reports to management on all health-related issues on a regular basis in line with agreed KSF’s.
- Managing the vessel medics and ensuring they have clinical governance process.
- In conjunction with vessel master input into the medic’s annual appraisal and objectives.
- Managing the OneFleet service delivery of the occupational health service provider.
- Participating in medical emergency response drills, and occupational health audits and inspections.
- Managing and ensuring consistent implementation of the drug and alcohol policy.
- Providing guidance and support to the offshore people department.
- Identifying health related improvement objectives and contributing to the delivery of the OneFleet annual goals and HSE plan.

Key Experience/Qualifications:
Essential:

- Registered Nurse qualification and confirmed fitness to practice.
- Recognised qualification in mental health and wellbeing.

Preferred:

- Recognised qualification in Occupational Health Nursing.
- National examination board in occupational safety and health (NEBOSH) certificate or equivalent.
