Clarendon Academy is looking to appoint an experienced **Senior First Aider/ Student Support Advisor **to support pupils with medical, social and emotional needs. **Working Hours**:Part Time (32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year including Teacher Training days). **Salary**: £13.93 per hour (£26,873 pro rata per annum). **Contract**: Permanent. **Required**: ASAP.

Clarendon Academy is a thriving co-educational, non-denominational secondary school and sixth form, educating young people between the ages of 11 and 18. Located in the bustling town of Trowbridge, Wiltshire, and in easy commuter distance from Bath, we pride ourselves on being a centre of excellence and a place where young, enthusiastic children enter in Year 7 and leave us at the end of Year 13 as fully rounded young adults. **We are looking for someone who**:

- Has experience of working in a school environment (desirable);
- Has experience working with young people with a variety of social and emotional issues;
- Is First Aid at Work (4-day course) trained or willing to take this qualification;
- Is specific medical needs trained e.g. diabetes, epilepsy and anaphylaxis (EpiPen) or is willing to complete this training;
- Has strong interpersonal and communication skills and is able to work with a variety of pupils, staff and parents;
- Is well-presented with a professional approach, maintaining utmost discretion and confidentiality;
- Is able to work under pressure and to meet deadlines;
- Is self-motivated, dedicated and consistent;
- Has the ability to deal with new challenging situations;
- Is a strong team player and good at building relationships;
- Has a positive, resilient and flexible attitude;
- s organised and enthusiastic.
