Our client is a very established and successful manufacturing company and due to their continued success Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Electrical Maintenance Engineer.

The successful applicant will undertake electrical maintenance activities at our client's busy manufacturing plant near Chesterfield.

**The Role**:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for planned and reactive electrical maintenance duties at a busy foundry, machining and heat treatment plant.

We are seeking a qualified electrical engineer preferably with previous electrical maintenance experience in a automated or heavy industry manufacturing environment.

Duties will include electrical maintenance and repair of plant and equipment including but not limited to;
- Single and 3-phase electrical fault find and repair
- Electrical maintenance and repair wide range of automated and semi-automated machinery
- Controls, motors, inverters, plc drives,
- Hydraulic & pneumatic control panels
- HV /LV Switch gear
- Distribution boards

We are seeking a qualified electrical engineer holding either NVQ 3 in electrical maintenance and / or 17th / 18th edition certification.
Ideally you will have good plc skills inputs / outputs fault find and repair, programming skills a bonus but not essential.

Applicants who are familiar with automated machinery will have advantage however full training will be given.

12 hour days only - Panama Shift
