Based Sheffield

**The Role**

The C#.NET Software Developer / Engineer / Programmer will be a key member of the Development Team, involved in all stages of the software lifecycle and contributing to the specification, design, implementation, testing and support of a wide range of technicalprojects. Main duties of the C#.NET Software Developer / Engineer / Programmer include:

- Designing and implementing GUIs
- Writing underlying class objects and libraries for data acquisition, interfaces to external systems and data manipulation
- Maintaining and supporting the current code base

Our client is a leading developer of products and services for the global scientific and industrial instrumentation sector and is currently expanding its software development team to meet the growing demand for its products, skills and expertise.

The successful C#.NET Software Developer / Engineer / Programmer will have strong analytical and problem solving abilities and be able to work using their own initiative within the team, sharing responsibility for organising, managing and delivering todeadlines. A flexible approach to working and being comfortable with multitasking is expected. Hybrid home-office working is an option.
- A strong programming background with at least 2 years of commercial experience
- Experience of using the.NET Framework
- Familiarity with the Visual Studio programming environment
- An enthusiasm to expand their skills and capabilities
