Hotel Receptionist

The Buchanan Arms Hotel & Spa is an outstanding hotel with leisure club in Drymen, 4 miles from the east side of Loch Lomond. We have re-opened with new ownership & are looking to make a strong, guest focused team that is efficient, effective, reliable & great team players

Our front office team is the heart of the hotel therefore you need to have excellent communication & organizational skills. The moment a guest steps into our hotel, they walk into a memorable experience. As a receptionist, you’ll not only be the person they rely on to handle transactions, offer local insights & anticipate their every need, you’ll also create a warm atmosphere that makes every guest feel at home. You will be required to assist in the day to day running of the reception/reservation department, ensuring a high standard of guest services & hospitality

**Your duties will include**:

- Guest check in & out
- Preparing invoices & taking payments
- Checking all bookings are updated & correct in our system, & all departments are aware of any special requests
- Maximise room occupancy levels & upsell wherever possible
- Preparing for the day ahead & guest arrivals
- Performing daily scheduled tasks
- Assisting other departments as & when required

**About you**:

- Experience in a similar or front facing customer service role preferred but not essential as full training will be given
- Strong communication, interpersonal & customer relation skills
- Flexible & adaptable with the ability to stay calm under pressure
- High attention to detail & accuracy

Part-time hours: 16-40 per week

**Salary**: £9.50-£11.00 per hour
