Intelligent Resource Recruitment is working in partnership with a major **Public/Private sector client** in the UK. We are currently recruiting for an **Invent ory Accounting Analyst role.**

**Job Title : Invent ory Accounting Analyst**

**Location: Onsite/Remote**

**Contract: Till March 2024**

**IR35: Inside**

**Minimum Requirement**:

- Timely and accurate preparation of accounts for all stock, raw material, work-in-progress, and finished goods to satisfy legal obligations and Group reporting standards.
- Revenue (Turnover) and Cost of Sales analysis and control.
- Generate/support Standard Product Costing (HKprop) creation, analysis, and steering for Press Work and associated components.
- Steering of material cost analysis incl. off standards and subsequent management reporting.
- Creation and steering of material costs planning for Budget and Forecast Profit & loss and balance sheet.
- Steer Obsolescence, scrap, and stock adjustment control process within the production technology areas.
- Reporting & presentation of all accounting information to management.

- Ensuring financial information and recommendations are clear and transparent to business at all levels to continually improve the quality of deliverables to improve management decision-making.
- Appreciation of manufacturing operations with particular emphasis on logistics to influence and emphasize the financial and control elements of the process and continually pursue process efficiencies.
- Continued mindset and action towards continuous enhancement of Internal processes & control systems within the sphere of control.
- Ensure that processes are challenged, optimized, and standardized across all entities so that change is accepted and encouraged.
- Provision of financial information to management to assist understanding and requirements for management action.
- Ensuring adherence to financial policies and guidelines.
- Ensure financial compliance, including supporting the design, implementation & management of appropriate processes to ensure and integrity within the internal control structures and legal requirements.
- Regular interaction with External and Internal Audit to give assurance and verification.
- Educational Background / Professional Knowledge and Experience / Other Skills.

**Education**:

- Minimum of Degree level or Part-Qualified Accountant (preferably UK professional body: ACA, ACMA, or ACCA) with / or at least 4 years of proven corporate/industry accounting or relevant finance experience.

**Work experience, Leadership experience**:

- Proven experience within a manufacturing finance function with a strong understanding of supply chain/logistics processes. The ability to work in networks and understand both direct and indirect influencing factors on key business decisions.

**Additional skills**:

- Knowledge and understanding of internal control structures, and internal & external audit procedures.
- Strong appreciation of manufacturing operations and logistics.
- Capability to prepare and present understandable (based on target audience) management reports to associates and management as required.
