Sprayshop Operative

**Full Time**:

- Gi Group are currently seeking a Sprayshop Operative to become a part of team in family-run business that has been a leading manufacturer of high-quality doors and bespoke joinery since 1918 based in Epworth.**Please be aware, having your own transport is essential due to location**

**Working hours**:
Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 4.30pm
- Friday 8.00am - 3.30pm
- **39 hours working week with possible overtime**
This is an ongoing, temporary to permanent position.
- Salary depends on experience
- **Key Responsibilities**:

- Following production schedules
- Ensure the highest levels of quality throughout, rejecting poor quality when necessary
- Help to plan / organise sprayshop workload in advance for each week
- Corrective / Preventive action - work with all departments to prevent wasted/down time
- Reporting any issues to sprayshop supervisor
- Ensure maintenance is carried out correctly and on time, ensuring they are clean and safe
- Following Health and Safety practices
- Spray shop and paint stores to be maintained in line with permits, ensuring correct stock levels, using old stock before new and out of date stock is disposed of correctly
- Any other reasonable duties that might be needed from time to time to assist the company

**Person Specification**:

- Experience in similar role desirable
Proactive positive attitude with a desire to want to improve and do things better
- Good interpersonal skill to be able to influence and communicate across all levels of the business
