Yard Assistant

We are looking for someone with good communication skills and a friendly manner as this is a customer facing role where you will be expected to serve customers promptly and efficiently. As part of the role, you will also be expected to unload and load incoming and outgoing vehicles while maintaining and organising the yard stock, along with general housekeeping so a positive can do attitude is a must.

**Skills and qualities we are looking for**
- Timber & building product knowledge
- Experience of working in a similar role will be advantageous
- FLT license preferable but not essential as full training will be given
- Organised and able to work on own initiative as well as in a team
- Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
- Ability to maintain simple records
- Sufficient physical strength and agility to perform work required

**Hours**
- Monday -Friday 8am - 5pm
- Saturday 8am - 1pm
- Immediate start required
