Administrative and Program Management Specialist

**Job Overview**:
The AFOSR International Science Division seeks to hire a mid-level, DO-II Administrative and Program Management Specialist in London, United Kingdom. The incumbent will be responsible for carrying out a wide-range of Administrative Officer tasks for the Director and staff of the International Office (IO).
Position duties include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinates, analyzes, plans, and evaluates AFOSR/IO administrative missions and operations.
- Serves as the central point of contact for guidance on administrative policies, procedures, and requirements for all IO Program Officers.
- Prepares documentation for the Director of IO's support, such as additional new policy letters, and interpretation of higher signature and/or dissemination on matters related to mission headquarters guidance from AFRL.
- Manages protocol program, advising Director and staff on procedures, and performing all associated duties for base visits by senior leaders and other distinguished visitors.
- Coordinates all planning aspects of major meetings, conferences, seminars, demonstrations, tours, and formal visits.
- Analyzes and interprets requirements; secures essential data from sponsoring segment, as available.
- Prepares and coordinates agendas and itineraries.
- Secures the use of facilities and leads support personnel in execution of services for distinguished visitors.
- Serves as the lead DTS administrator in the IOE office. Executes and creates travel authorizations; organizes receipts and expenses, and other supporting paperwork; makes air and ground transportation arrangements, lodging, conference attendance, and other reservations as needed; and prepares and submits travel vouchers for the Director of IO.
- Travel may be required (local and international).
- Relocation/PCS costs or other incentives will not be available nor considered by the organization.
- Position is authorized post allowance.

**Required Qualifications**:
- United States Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
**Desired Qualifications**:
- 5+ years of administrative and/or customer service-related experience
- Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously
- HR knowledge
- Familiar with protocol and event planning
- Travel systems experience (e.g., DTS, APACS, and/or FCG)
- Knowledge Skills And Abilities (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
