Located right on the river edge in the centre of Royal Windsor, Sir Christopher Wren Hotel & Spa is a popular four star hotel in an unbeatable setting. Comprised of several characterful buildings clustered around a historic cobbled street by Eton Bridge, the hotel offers a collection of individually styled bedrooms, a modern conference centre, The Brasserie restaurant and bar, and the Wren's Club spa and fitness centre. The perfect riverside location is just steps from Windsor Castle, and is popular for tourists as well as visitors for meetings and events.
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Receptionist to come and join our friendly and professional Reception team. Working an 8 hour shift, our early shift starts at 7am with our late shifts finishing at 10:45pm. You must be flexible to work 5 days out of 7 including bank holidays.
Our Front Office team is the welcoming face of our hotel. As our receptionist you’ll be responsible for creating that all important first and last impressions on our guests. Being in a customer facing role means you’ll be a friendly, well - presented and confident individual with a warm way with people.

**As our receptionist you’ll have...**
- Previous experience in a similar customer facing role, ideally in hospitality
- Excellent communications skills and the commitment to deliver great customer service with a smile.
- Excellent command of the English language both written and oral as telephone work is required
- Good presentation, with an outgoing personality, excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly yet professional manner
- Lots of initiative and be able to work on your own and work well under pressure
- A positive attitude and outlook and a willingness to learn, contribute and grow.
**What will I be doing as a receptionist?**
- Providing a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for our guests & visitors, ensuring their stay with us is memorable.
- Performing smooth check-in and check-out for guests using Opera
- Assisting with guest enquiries and requests and resolving issues or concerns; responding promptly and professionally at all times.
- Ensuring all housekeeping & maintenance requests and issues are communicated between Reception and Housekeeping or Maintenance promptly & are satisfactorily resolved.
- Providing an excellent communication between callers, guests and all departments.
- Liaising with reservations to ensure guest requests are dealt with efficiently
- Taking room reservations out of office hours
- Proactively selling all facilities and services available to our guests
- Working with your colleagues to ensure smooth service and high team morale
