BD and Marketing Manager, Private Wealth (and some supervision from the BD & Marketing Executive)

**Hours**:
9.30am - 5.30pm (flexibility will be required)

**Job Summary**:
The BD & Marketing Assistant will be responsible for tasks and projects associated with raising the brand profile of Forsters’ Private Wealth practice, as well develop new and existing client relationships. The Assistant will work with the Private Wealth Manager and Executive to support the Partners and fee earners with their BD plans.

**Role outline**:
Forsters is looking to recruit an experienced Assistant (ideally from within the legal/professional services sector) to support our Private Wealth practice. The practice consists of a wide range of teams including Tax, Trusts & Estates, Family, Contentious Trusts & Estates, Residential Property and Rural, Land & Business as well as other specialist groups.

The teams that will be supported have ambitious plans to roll out various strategies including; campaigns, profile raising (internal and external) and referral pipelines.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Administration**:

- Scheduling and attending relevant meetings, taking minutes and distributing/following up on actions
- Responsibility for updating internal tools such as referral trackers, marketing lists and calendars
- Produce first drafts of monthly and quarterly reports
- Manage the PW teams’ membership and conferences schedule
- Co-ordinate payment of invoices.

**Digital and brand**:

- To assist with developing content for LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram working with our digital specialists
- Manage the design process for small initiatives with in-house and external design support.

**Communications**:

- Draft web copy for the promotion of blogs, industry recognition, PR and speaking opportunities for the website and social media

**Business development**:

- Carry out client, competitor and sector research to support BD strategies, pitch opportunities and campaigns
- Track market trends through research and identify potential opportunities
- Assist the BD and Marketing Manager and Executive in driving forward BD plans and other strategies
- Assist the BD and Marketing Manager in the ongoing management and delivery of an intermediary referral program
- Support Associates in the development of their personal BD plans.

**Collateral**:

- Be the key point of contact for the sourcing, production and tailoring of all standard marketing materials
- Produce marketing collateral (e.g. credentials, team sheets, briefing sheets)
- Contribute to the maintenance of a central library of marketing materials and credentials documents.

**Campaigns**:

- Manage, track and report on all mailshots (newsletters, event invitations etc.)
- To support the BD and Marketing Manager in co-ordinating and collating content for campaigns and projects
- Actively ensure groups engage with Social Media (SM) content, sharing SM posts and the promotion of campaigns. Working with the Digital team to track and report on SM campaign stats
- Bring creativity and new ideas on formats and delivery is encouraged.

**Pitching / New Business**:

- Assist with the creation and production of pitch documents and credentials
- Track outcomes using the pitch tracker and collate relevant material for use in future pitch scenarios
- Manage the groups CVs, including liaising with all new joiners and updating CVs (i.e. trainee seat moves, staff promotions etc.).

**Skills**:

- Proficient in use of MS Office (specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Intermediate level InDesign and Vuture would be advantageous
- Excellent administration, organisational and prioritisation skills with ability to manage time efficiently
