An exciting opportunity has become available for a three day live out nanny position in St Albans, Hertfordshire.

You will be working with a friendly and professional family, taking sole charge of their daughter, who is aged eight months. The family like to spend time outdoors, listening to music and going to the theatre. They are looking for a happy and active nanny who would like to become part of their family.

The hours will be 08.00-20.00 on three days each week, to be mutually agreed. There is also the possibility of ad hoc additional hours for babysitting, these hours will be mutually agreed and paid as overtime.

The parents are keen for their daughter to learn and play in a balanced way, helping her to reach her developmental milestones. She enjoys indoor activities such as reading stories, singing songs and playing games. The parents would also be happy for you to take her to fun and educational activities and groups, such as soft play, music group and story time at the library, as well as trips to the park and meeting up with friends to help her to socialise.

As well as general care of the baby, the role will include nursery duties (taking care of her laundry, ensuring her bedroom and playroom are organised and tidy, keeping the kitchen tidy, etc). You will also be responsible for preparing healthy and nutritious meals for her, homemade as often as possible. The family also has a weekly housekeeper.

Although a driver isn’t essential, if you do drive, you should be a careful and confident driver with a clean driving licence, with your own fully insured car. Mileage for work-related travel will be reimbursed at the current government rate.
