**What we do**

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People trains dogs that change deaf people’s lives through emotional and practical support - because nobody with hearing loss should feel alone. Our amazing dogs help deaf children and adults to leave loneliness behind and reconnect with life.

**What you will be doing**

This is a hybrid role with ideally 1-2 days in the office (including donor meetings). Working as the Trusts and Foundations Officer you will be fully responsible and accountable for:

- Develop relationships with colleagues in fundraising, the wider organisation and external trusts and foundation managers and administrators.
- Research the market and develop market knowledge. Establish new partnerships with Trusts, using all relevant and appropriate research techniques to understand their grant giving criteria.
- Account manage trust and Major Giving relationships, ensuring the trust receives updates and reports on time.
- Support the Head of Major Giving with major donor and corporate development.

**What you will need to succeed**
- You will be able to develop relationships with colleagues in the wider teams, senior staff, Hearing Dogs trustees, external trusts and foundation managers and administrators.
