**Pay Rate**:£40 - £45ph Umbrella

We are seeking an experience Mechanical Draughter to join our client, who designs and manufactures Live Fire Training Systems for Fire Services in all disciplines such as domestic fire services, aviation, military, petro-chemical and academies.

The contract will be for 3 months initially with a view to being extended.

**Mechanical Draughter Skills and Experience required**
- Full competency in Autodesk Inventor and Vault Software Packages
- Experience in Autodesk AutoCAD (2D) would be beneficial
- Familiar with Windows 10 Operating system and MS Office Software Packages (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Suitable qualifications and experience in Engineering Design and Drafting
- Able to generate detail design layout and drawings for:

- Site layout
- Plant layout
- Able to read and understand PIDs
- Pipe Work Assembly and detailing for screwed and welded pipe work (6mm - 100mm, 500mbar to 8barg)
- Assembly of Process Control Systems with awareness of device positioning such as strainers, valves, regulators, specialist components based on PID’s
- Plate Weldments and Fabrications
- Limited Structural Steel Assemblies
