Clinical Oncologist

We are excited to be looking for a new colleague to join our expanding team of substantive consultants based in beautiful North Wales. Currently we are seeking a number of Clinical Oncologist Consultants in a range of sub-specialities to strengthen our workforce so that we can provide the best care to the people of North Wales for years to come.

As part of the Health Board’s strategic collaboration with Bangor University, individuals with an interest in teaching and research who can demonstrate and agree a possible contribution to the School can be considered and nominated for recognition through the University’s process for granting honorary titles and help to deliver our shared vision for the North Wales School of Medicine and Health.

The North Wales Cancer Treatment centre is ideally located at the centre of the region and caters for large volumes of patients daily. All three cancer treatment centres in North Wales have been funded by public donations demonstrating the passionate and supportive communities within which we work. There are excellent road links across North Wales (A55), to the Wirral and Liverpool (M53), and to Manchester (M56). With increasing opportunity for hybrid models of working, including telephone consultation clinics and remote access radiotherapy planning and outlining, there is the prospect to live more distantly from the Cancer Treatment Centre whilst still being part of a dynamic and cohesive team.
