**What you will be doing**:

- Using CNC machine, wall saw, band saw, circular saw, table saw, power tools and hand tools to cut panels, and make semi-finished and finished products
- Fabrication of Studio Smile interiors products and furniture
- Making material samples for customers with excellent attention to detail
- Some furniture/product design using CAD required
- Attention to detail of product, specification and quality standards, ensuring a safe working environment
- working to product schematics and assembly instructions
- Testing products for their functionality
- Quality checking
- Carrying out habitual housekeeping
- Hitting fabrication targets, KPIs
- Actively assisting with continual business improvement
- Operate tools in order to aid in the manufacturing process
- Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected
- Work with others in order to ensure that equipment is in proper working order
- Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations
- Ability to follow strict processes and procedures
- Eager to learn new skills
- Be part of continuous improvement teams and suggest improvements

**Who we are looking for**
- 2+ years experience in fabrication/carpentry
- Ability to comprehend specifications and blueprints
- Proficient in using and maintaining a variety of cutting tools and hand held power tools including circular saws, sanders, planers, drills, routers and bandsaws
- Experience in using CNC machine desirable but not essential
- Day to day problem solving, with a can-do attitude
- Great attention to detail and accuracy in all work
- Computer literacy with some CAD and MS Office experience essential
- Good understanding of basic maths
- Ability to manually handle panels and products, with excellent manual dexterity. Ability to lift up to 35kg on a regular basis
- Previous experience of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (min 2 years)
- A quality mindset and take pride in the work you do, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- You must love problem solving and show lots of initiative
- You will be used to working in a safety-first environment
- Experience in plastics manufacturing is desirable but not essential
- A high energy level and target orientated
- Computer literacy:

- Essential: MS Office (Word & Excel) (basic - intermediate level)
- You must be flexible and adaptable, willing to perform other duties as and when required - we’re small and not defined by our job titles
- The ability to work multiple different shift patterns
- A team-focussed mindset with an ability to work on your own and in small teams
- An interest in the environment and recycling is highly desirable
