**Avoncroft Museum of Historic Buildings**
**Help shape our future by becoming a Trustee**
Our current long-term Trustees have successfully steered Avoncroft through the covid-19 pandemic and ensured that it is secure for the future.
We are looking for a new generation of Trustees who will shape the museum’s long-term future, continuing to protect our heritage and serve the public, making the museum a great place to visit and learn. Our future Trustees need to reflect the diversity of both the communities of Worcestershire and the West Midlands and tourists from across the UK.
We are looking to recruit a minimum of 5 Trustees, including the position of Honorary Treasurer. We are looking for people who will bring one or more of the following skills:

- Heritage / museum experience at an operational and/or strategic level
- Innovate and able to lead change - perhaps transferable skills from a different sector.
- Entrepreneurial and able to bring new ideas and challenge within a not-for-profit environment.
- Financial skills, ideally with an accountancy qualification (Treasurer).
- Knowledge of audit and risk management.
