Kitchen Porter

We have a vacancy for kitchen porter to assist the kitchen in our restaurant Ivy House.

The Ivy House Kitchen is a high volume catering offering which requires a high turnover of crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils to keep things moving.

As Kitchen Porter, you will be responsible for the quick and efficient operation of the dish washroom area ensuring that the kitchen, bar and dining room are provided with their equipment as quickly as possible in a safe manner.

You will also be responsible for maintaining the safety of the dish wash and surrounding areas at all times to avoid slips, trips and accidents.

This is a permanent position on a rota based system. The ability to work weekends is a essential and the occasional evening event with competitive rates of pay will be required.
