Pastoral Coordinator

Our Lady of the Magnificat MAC are looking to recruit a Pastoral Coordinator. This role will be based at St Augustine’s Catholic High School.
- To contribute to the whole School Improvement Plan in conjunction with Deputy Principal for Pastoral.
- To contribute to the development of effective monitoring and evaluation of pastoral systems and to support the School Self Evaluation Form (SEF).
- To contribute to and support the Deputy Principal for Pastoral in planning programmes of intervention for those students who show significant underachievement and barriers to learning.
- Help to develop and implement policies and/or procedures relating to the Pastoral Care of our students.
- Offer information, advice and guidance to others regarding the support of students. This may include sharing knowledge of activities, courses, organisations and individuals that can be accessed to provide additional support to students.
- Act as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and carry out all of the related responsibilities of the role for specific year groups.
- Act as a Mental Health First Aider for specific year groups
