The Public Services department works closely with the emergency services to inspire and enthuse learners to consider an impactful career in the sector and leads learner expeditions throughout the year to a range of locations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Undertake the teaching, assessment and coordination of programmes of study leading to qualifications within NCFE Public Services at Level 2 through to Level 3 within college;
- Lead/accompany learner expeditions to a range of locations in line with the demands of the course specifications;
- Provide learners with a range of learning opportunities to engage with the Public Service industry;
- Liaise with Public Services colleagues, managers and directors to ensure an effective learner experience.

**Skills Knowledge and Expertise**

**Essential Criteria**:

- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification
- GCSE English & Maths at minimum Grade C or O Level equivalent
- Relevant industry experience
- A good understanding of the public services industry
- A range of contacts and networks within the public services

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Relevant teaching experience
- Expedition leadership experience

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

Pay: £21.49-£39.30 per hour
