Junior Tester

To provide an outstanding service and enhance the lives to our digital customers.

This is an entry-level role, whereby you will be working with business champions, to understand the insurance industry.

You will be taught how to understand software / business requirements and look at running test steps created by the business champions to determine a software outcome. You will receiving ongoing support and guidance throughout the onboarding process.

As well as learning about the LV= Insurance domain, you obtain on-the-job training in the best practice for Software testing

This is a Fixed Term Contract of 3 - 4 months, Based in Exeter offices

**About you**:

- Good numerical skills
- High attention to detail
- Computer literate including Microsoft office programs
- Well organised with good time management skills and the flexibility to change routines.
- Ability to adapt to new working practices with minimum supervision.
- A committed and enthusiastic attitude with the ability to work within a team and on own.
- Experience of working in an exciting and vibrant environment whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy and meeting deadlines
- Confident in using own initiative.

**Details**:

- Work as an integral team member and work with other team members within the test and development teams.
- Ability to read and understand business requirements.
- To be able to understand test steps or instructions against what the business needs.
- Document and explain “software bugs” to testers and business owners
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc) to document learnings, issues, and software bugs.
