**SALARY**:£19,263 - £19,922 per annum (Grade 1)

**LOCATION**:London (May involve travelling between schools across the Trust)

**JOB TYPE**:2 Year Fixed-Term, Full-Time Contract

**WORKING HOURS**:37.5 hours per week

**JOB OVERVIEW**

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Graduate Finance Internwho is highly motivated and efficient individual, with good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Working as the Graduate Finance Intern you will support further development of the finance team by delivering first class management information, plans & forecasts.

As the Graduate Finance Intern, you will have the drive to deliver excellence in Finance and support the finance team in achieving its mission, whilst also dealing with a wide variety of people at all levels.

**DUTIES**
- Support financial administration across the Trust
- Support finance leads and area finance manager in the discharge of their role
- Assist with the production of management accounts
- Input of standing information to finance system (suppliers, debtors)
- Calculation and entry of monthly accruals and prepayments
- Process of Purchase Orders from requisitions
- Process of invoices
- Assist the Area Finance Manager in completing detailed annual budgets and forecasts
- Assist in controlling and forecasting expenditure
- Accurate posting of time to the Fixed Asset Register
- Investigate and resolve supplier invoices under query
- Raise Sales Invoices
- Implement debt collection procedures, including referral to a debt collection agency
- Support internal and external audit process
- Recording of credit card transactions
- Assist with month end

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**

The Graduate Finance Intern will have:

- Fully committed to pursuing a professional accountancy qualification
- Work experience within a finance function
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing across a wide range of audiences
- High standard of accuracy and presentation
- The ability to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines
