Wool Trader

An exciting opportunity has been created for a new member of the team to get a strong base and understanding in all aspects of our operation within the first 12months, before progressing as a Wool Trader.

Office based shadowing the trading team, dealing with samples both incoming and outgoing, hands on experience in the grading process handling greasy wool, spending time in the processing mill understanding the wool processing

After 12 months, more focus and time spent with the trading team, administrational duties and supporting the team, depending on the applicants ability then working with clients, looking for new leads, start to trade with a view for career development as a Wool Trader with real career progression with international travel possibilities.

**Requirements**:
Excel and Word competent

Hold valid Driving Licence

Self Motivated and driven to succeed

Preferred:
Language skills

Business studies qualification

Sales and marketing qualification

Interest in Trading

- Standard Wool are a group of companies that buy and sell wool worldwide, with processing and grading businesses in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. Our head office is based in Dewsbury where we also wash and process the greasy wool we buy from farmers, wool exporters and auction houses, we create repeatable quality wool blends which are used by our clients to spin and manufacture the raw material into Rugs and Carpets for the residential and hospitality industry, Insulation for packaging and buildings, Garments in both weaving, machine and hand knitting products._

**Salary**: From £22,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Yearly bonus
