**Position 1**: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm (one hour unpaid lunch), 40 hours per week. No regular weekend work.

**Position 2**: Monday-Friday 1pm-6pm, 25 hours per week. No regular weekend work.

**Starting rate of pay: Up to £9.80 per hour**

Our Dispensing hub is a production based pharmacy environment to help support our pharmacies by assembling Monitored Dosage Systems (MDS) for their patients and delivering the packs back to branch.

As a Pharmaceutical Production Operative you will be given all the skills and training to work safely and effectively in a pharmacy production environment.

You will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our patients through the adherence to written policies and compliance with good manufacturing practices.
This high level of quality is essential in assisting the business to provide an efficient and friendly service to our pharmacies.

Attention to detail is essential as you will be responsible for the processing and assembly of medicines. Time management, attention to detail, working to targets and working under pressure are all required.

You should also possess a can
- do, motivated attitude with a desire to develop and progress and the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships within your team and other departments.

Roles and responsibilities will include:

- Removing medication from its original packaging using de-blistering machine.
- Replenishing the medication canisters in the machine on a daily basis.
- Using IT software and operating machine to produce medication packs.
- Ordering stock from our suppliers as needed.
- Appropriately packaging and dispatching medication packs to our pharmacies via our warehouse
