**The job**:We are recruiting for a manufacturing planner for the Inchinnan Site to drive powder planning producing product for a range of clients within the pharmaceutical sector. The manufacturing planner supports the business in driving the Customer experience by achieving the LIFR, Revenue generation and Backorder reduction goals set by Inchinnan leadership. This role will build and drive the plan for a powder manufacturing stream with an annual revenue of $150M.

**What will you do?**
- Key accountability to drive a stable, raw materially feasible powder plan to give manufacturing the best chance of achieving set targets and achieving customer needs.
- In the period 0-2 weeks the planner will handover the fixed plan to the finite scheduling team to drive in detail with manufacturing. Lead for the manufacturing plan for the powder stream in the window 2 weeks to 6 months.
- Accountable for LIFR/BO in the powder field and identify and inspire changes to achieve global targets.
- Assist the Planning Manager in S&OE and SIOP inputs for Inchinnan Powder Manufacturing Planning.
- Partner with distribution resource planning (DRP) team to align on regional stocking levels to improve service and minimize spoilage. Partner with NPI, Product management, and Demand planning to support the planning aspects of decisions for powder planning stream. (NPI through discontinuation).
- Supporting collaborative demand / supply meetings with key customers and product managers**.**

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Validated understanding of manufacturing concepts and principles, finite scheduling, product flow, data management, and supply chain planning
- Knowledgeable regarding MRP principles and system dynamics
- Familiarity and experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement concepts
- Proficient in handling and analyzing data in Excel; sophisticated pivot tables & reporting and data analysis
- Ability to demonstrate communication and influencing skills, judgment, tact and subtlety in taking care of internal and external customers.
- Certified in production and inventory management, supply chain management, or Project management; APICS CPIM, CSCP, Project management PMP, or ISM CPSM
- Planning and scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment using MRP/ERP tools (Made2Manage, Oracle, SAP, JDE, server-based systems)
- Willingness to learn and develop
