SM Development Group are seeking a skilled joiner to join our expanding team. The joiner will be required to carry out a range of carpentry work on properties in Stockport and the surrounding areas that we cover from small tasks to large scale projects.

You will need to be extremely self-motivated, have good customer communication skills, be able to use mobile devices to complete works orders and have pride in every job that is allocated.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that all jobs issued are completed in a timely manner to a high standard.
- Perform all service requests as assigned by Management.
- Maintain an organised and orderly supply list at all times.
- Report any health and safety concerns or issues to Management immediately.
- Report any maintenance concerns or issues to Management immediately.

**Essential Skills & Qualifications**:

- Must have relevant qualifications or a wealth of experience in the trade.
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
- Must have a high degree of attention to detail and must possess excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with high stress tolerance.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record required.

**Desirable Qualifications**:

- Access to own vehicle
- Having your own basic tools would be an advantage (any specialist tools will be provided).

This is a full time, self-employed position with working hours of 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday.

**Salary**: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Stockport, Greater Manchester: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Joinery: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
