**Lead Gas Engineer | North West/North England Region |£45k & Door-to-door & fuel expenses covered | Working supervisor role - Must have Domestic & Commercial Gas Tickets**
Our client are a family owned organisation who have grown their business to become one of the UK's leading Mechanical & Electrical services contractors whilst maintaining their family values.

They are seeking an experienced **Lead Gas Engineer** to oversee and supervise a team of Gas Engineers whilst undertaking repair, maintenance and installation of gas, plumbing and heating systems in domestic and commercial properties across **North England.
**_Base location is flexible, however there will be frequent travel to the North West so must be happy to travel. Door-to-door & fuel expenses are covered._

**Main responsibilities of the Lead Gas Engineer;**
- To undertake heating engineering & plumbing duties including reactive repairs, servicing of boilers and other appliances, installations and associated works.
- Co-ordinate and supervise the Gas team to deliver the help projects and maintenance on time and on budget.
- To undertake the installation of new domestic heating systems in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, industry best practice codes, practices, and legislation.
- To issue notices and certificates required by the relevant regulations relating to gas safety.
- Scope work on-site and assess work required and supervise the site schedule of site teams
- Conduct toolbox talks and work with the QHSE Manager to ensure health and safety on site.
- To adhere to manufacturer's instructions when servicing, repairing or installing appliances.
- To provide information to allow records to be updated following service and testing and update Gas Safety records using electronic or manual documentation.
- To acquire quotes for stock from authorized suppliers, materials required to undertake works through the approved order system
- To record completed works and maintain an accurate records of work carried out including measurements and calculations.

**The ideal Lead Gas Engineer will;**
- Have experience working in both commercial and domestic environments.
- Be an experienced Gas engineer with a proven record of supervising engineers.
- Ideally be familiar with oil and medium and high-pressure systems.
- Have valid Commercial and Domestic Gas tickets. E.g TPCP1A, CORT1, CCN1
- Hold a valid driving licenseand able to drive company vehicles in a safe and courteous manner and to ensure that the vehicle is maintained to appropriate standards.
