- Ensuring appropriate staffing for the delivery and registration of all ceremonies, including short notice cover and out of hour cover requirements
- Maintaining, delivering and monitoring technical expertise with a thorough understanding od statutory and non-statutory services ceremonies
- Building and maintaining good working relationships with stakeholders including customers, licensed venues, clergy, service providers and others and provide support wherever required.
- Training, monitoring and developing Ceremony Officers to an agreed standard of excellence with regard to individual behaviours and high levels of customer service.

About you

You will be required to work anywhere in the County based on operational needs, so will need the ability to travel (including to our 77 Approved Venues).

In return the Council offers a variety of benefits including Local Government Pension Scheme, a generous annual leave allowance, comprehensive employee discounts scheme, relevant travel expenses, Employee Assistance Programme (access to free support 24 hours a day) as well as opportunities for learning and development.

Applications close 25th June, shortlisting will take place 27th June and Initial interviews will take place via Teams on 29th June
