The Restaurant:
Located at Poplars Garden Centre just off Junction 12. The Restaurant is a 300+ seater, Counter Service operation. We have multiple counters serving anything from Coffee & Cake, Breakfast, Carvery Lunch and Lite Bites or Jacket Potatoes and our exciting new Little Poplars Counter with Ice Creams, Milk Shakes, Smoothies, Waffles and other treats. All counters operate as assisted service. We are extremely proud of out excellent customer service and high quality, home cooked meals.

The Person:
Please tell us about your previous experience in the catering industry.

If you have experience as a Barista, we are interested in hearing about it

We are a friendly and welcoming team and would expect the same of you.

You must be reliable and motivated as our Restaurant is busy and fast paced.

We ask our team to be both flexible and reliable.

An attentive eye for detail would be an advantage.

The Job:
You will be working in our Restaurant in a variety of roles.

These may include but are not limited to: Table Clearer, Counter Server, Till Operator, Food Preparation on Counter.

The Restaurant is a very busy operation and you will be on your feet for your entire shift excluding breaks.

There may be some lifting and heavy work required.

The Hours:
Shifts vary between 8.00am and 5.30pm. You will work shifts of differing length between these hours.

There may be occasional evening shifts (sometimes 4 to 6 annually).

**Please note that you must be available Weekdays & Weekends. This is not a Weekend only role.**

**Job Type**: This is a non-contracted role although you may be offered a contract after your trial period.

**Salary**: Up to £9.50 per hour in line with National Living Wage requirements. Non contracted staff will receive an additional uplift of up to £1.02 per hour.
