Chartered Accountant

**Role: Senior Accountant**

**Location: Burnley**

**Salary: £30,000 -£50,000**

**Hours: Monday to Friday 9.00am -5.00pm**

A fantastic opportunity has arisen in an expanding long established charted accountancy and Business Advisory practice for an experienced Semi Senior/Senior Accountant. This is a position that allows an experienced accountant to acquire operational and leadershipexperience whilst maintaining their client-facing and hands-on accounting responsibilities.

**The Role**:

- The completion of year-end accounts, CT600, Corporation Tax computations and Self-Assessment Tax Returns for a portfolio of clients
- Supporting a team of Accountants, and a Partner to continuously deliver the agreed level of service.
- Training, coaching and mentoring apprentices and Junior Accountants
- Supporting the Partner with all operational matters

**About you**:

- Due to the level of this role it is essential that you have experience within an accountancy practice
- Part-qualified/Qualified accountant (ACCA/AAT/ACA) or equivalent commercial experience
- An ability to prepare accounts, VAT Returns, corporation tax and SATR
