**About us**

Torchlight Tuition is a small business in Barnes, Richmond upon Thames. Our goal is to provide quality bespoke tuition to local families. We work with a team of fantastic teachers and tutors who provide tuition at their students' homes or online. We are looking to expand our capacity to deal with the high demand for good tutors.

Duties
- Create personalized lesson plans based on the individual needs of each student
- Assess student's strengths and weaknesses to determine areas for improvement
- Teach study skills and strategies to help students become more effective learners
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop and implement educational plans

**Skills**:

- Strong ability to educate and communicate effectively with students of all ages
- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with children
- Knowledge of various tutoring techniques and strategies
- Familiarity with special education practices and accommodations
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students
- Excellent organizational skills to track student progress and maintain records

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £30.00-£65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 15 per week

- Richmond upon Thames: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Bachelor's (preferred)

- Tutoring: 1 year (preferred)
