**Role Purpose**:
The primary function of this role is to operate heavy mobile plant across the site to enable efficient operations in line with company operating procedures, operating on a day shift basis, Monday - Friday, providing holiday and sickness cover when required to optimise the running time of the quarry.

Assist where required with preventative maintenance and daily inspections of all onsite processes to ensure compliance with the companies legal and permitted requirements. including assisting maintenance, plant inspections and the operation of other mobile equipment such as a Manitou and Forklift truck.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To safely operate all fixed and mobile plant in accordance with training, current legislation and in compliance with Sibelco procedures and policies, ensuring process optimisation, loading hoppers and rail before despatching final product.
- To assist in all other aspects of site operations including quality assurance assisting maintenance, plant inspections for both fixed and mobile plant.
- Support the other members of the operations team as required
- The role includes lone working and lone working arrangements, you must be able to work unsupervised and be able to make decisions independently.

The use of mobile plant for the purpose of loading hoppers, vehicles, trailers and stock piling.
