If you answer yes to these questions, then Wakefield Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is the place for you We are looking for an experienced and confident Mental Health Practitioner to be based in the Wakefield CAMHS Neurodiverse Inclusive Support Team (NIST).

Wakefield CAMHS NIST was formed in June 2021 and is and small MDT with an aim to support children, young people and their families. The teamwork with children and young people who have Neurodevelopmental diagnoses including but not limited to Intellectual Learning Disability, Autism or ADHD where there is also evidence of a mental health difficulty. The team also work with children or young people and their families in the process of being assessed for such conditions and offer support where significant adaptations are needed that are further to those already offered in the wider CAMHS pathways.
