**North Nottinghamshire Female MARAC (Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference) Administrator**

**Purpose of the post**:To manage the administration and smooth running of domestic abuse MARAC meetings in the North Nottinghamshire area and support the MARAC steering group. The post holder will be based at the IDVA office in Mansfield Police Station with the possibility of some remote working.

**Hours**:25 hours per week.

**Ways of Working**

The organisation is managed by a linear management structure comprising of the Head of Services, Community Services Coordinator, Refuge Services Coordinator and a Children and Young Peoples service coordinator. Paid and unpaid workers are consulted on service and organisational development and delivery of services. All workers bring their own individual skills and are all valued equally.

**Responsibilities**:

- Organise and ensure consistency in referral of cases from the full range of potential referring agencies based on the use wherever possible of a common risk assessment tool for victims
- To refer MARAC cases ahead of the meeting to the IDVA service in a timely way
- Gather relevant information about the MARAC cases ahead of the meeting and circulate to all relevant attendees, in particular to the IDVA or ISVA where appropriate
- Prepare and circulate the MARAC case list and agenda via secure means within eight days of the meeting to ensure that cases are reviewed in the most time effective way and that any specialist attendees are present
- To work with the wider partnership on the introduction of Ecins for the MARAC process, ensuring that this post holder understands and is trained on Ecins.
- Prepare and circulate accurate minutes of the meeting via secure means, which differentiate between fact and professional opinion, and include agreed actions in accordance with the MARACs guidelines
- To ensure that any information shared in the conduct of these duties is in line with the MARAC information sharing protocol
- To maintain an action list following each meeting to ensure they are completed within the target time, recording where actions are complete, cannot be completed for whatever reason (such as a change in circumstances) or incomplete and bring these to the attention of the next meeting
- To maintain a tracking system of MARAC cases which have been flagged for six months following the last incident, and to notify colleagues when six months have passed so that these flags can be removed from their respective systems
- Ensure that relevant data is collected to ensure outputs and outcomes from MARAC can be recorded and accountability to victims and partner agencies is underpinned
- Work with permanent partner agencies to ensure that all relevant members of staff are familiar with the MARAC process, and their role and responsibilities within it
- Develop and maintain the necessary documentation to ensure the smooth running of the MARAC including the information sharing protocol, the referral forms, research forms and minutes
- Support the work of the chair of the MARAC in whatever way may be reasonably required
- To administer and support the MARAC steering group, and provide the chair and the meeting with relevant paperwork in conjunction with Juno
- To coordinate annual leave with the finance and admin team who will provide cover for the MARAC meeting.
